SAN MARCOS —The Palomar College semi-annual student art, glass and pottery sale is scheduled for Dec. 4 through Dec. 6 on the college campus in San Marcos, located at 1140 W. Mission Road.
The sale will be held in the timber frame structure near Parking Lot 15, just south of the Howard Brubeck Theatre. Sale hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
According to Paul Helling, art department assistant, shoppers can select from a wide variety of items, all handcrafted by Palomar College students. The assortment includes metal and ceramic sculpture, vases, stoneware, jewelry, stained and hand-blown glass pieces, ornaments and other decorative items.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Palomar College art department and students. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted.
