Tens of thousands lined the streets to watch the more than 90 entries in the 2010 Encinitas Holiday parade on Dec. 4.
The theme of this year’s parade was Illuminate the Season —with Gifts of Service.
A tree-lighting ceremony kicked off the festivities and the parade ran along Coast Highway 101 from D Street to J Street.
