LA COSTA — Permits were approved and it’s all green lights for a new Saturday Farmer’s Market on the grounds of La Costa Canyon High School (LCC) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. beginning Aug. 18 at 1 Maverick Way across the street from Stagecoach Park on Camino De Los Coches. The new site offers ample parking.The weekly Saturday market will raise money to support the school’s visual and performing arts programs. The market will be held in the school’s parking lot entered through the school’s main entrance.
It will offer a variety of fresh, locally grown produce, flowers, specialty foods like sauces, marinades, olive oils, bakeries, fresh fish, food trucks, local artists and more. The school is asking the community to come and shop at the weekly market to support both the school and area farmers.
