SOLANA BEACH — Organizers of the upcoming Fiesta Del Sol 2013 in June have announced the music line-up booked for the event.Bands will include Tristan Prettyman, Greyboy Allstars, Anuhea andWhite Buffalo.
Performers for June 1 will include:
— Thunder Road, Bruce Springsteen tribute)
— 2Tone Sounds, collective of members from Skanic, The Upbeat and Sandollar Sound/Dynamic Pressure, playing British Ska.
— Anuhea ,one of Hawaii’s top up and coming singer and songwriters
— The Greyboy Allstars, funk and soul
The line-up for June 2 will feature:
— Old Man Markley, combo of LA’s finest punk bands and seasoned bluegrass musician)
— One Drop, classic roots reggae and dub music with a blend of r&b, pop and rock
— White Buffalo
— Tristan Prettyman
Talent buyer Eric Milhouse, said “Fiesta Del Sol is a great opportunity for us to show bands and musicians what a vibrant and music loving town Solana Beach is. We hear great reviews from the bands after the festival – they are happy with the community feedback and how welcoming their experience is.”
Fiesta del Sol takes place adjacent to Fletcher Cove within the area bordered by South Sierra Avenue and Acacia Avenue April 1 and April 2, free and open to all ages. There is a beer garden, and the fest closes each evening at 9 p.m. after the conclusion of the last musical performance.
