Link to Jewish world on new Web site

CARLSBAD — Rabbi Yeruchem Eilfort, director of Chabad at La Costa, has announced the unveiling of the newly renovated Chabad Web site, powered by, a Jewish Web content provider.
“We have taken the basic content of and customized it to fit the needs of the local Jewish community, as well as our non-Jewish neighbors who may be interested in learning more about who we are and what we believe,” Rabbi Eilfort said.
The Web site includes such diverse features as a massive online Jewish library, animated shows and games for children, a contemporary news magazine, up-to-the-minute updates on Chabad activities around the world, updates on the situation in Israel, local classes and programs offered by Chabad at La Costa (including audio/video of past classes), and even an online Judaica shop. Rabbi Eilfort also plans on adding a mechanism to order kosher meat for a new Kosher cooperative he is starting this month.
