CARLSBAD — On June 7 at 11:30 p.m., the Carlsbad Police Department dispatch received a 911 call from the Holiday Inn at 850 Palomar Airport Road. The desk clerk stated that she had just been robbed at gunpoint.
According to the clerk, a male and female suspect, both wearing black sweatshirts, blue jeans, and masks, entered the front lobby. The male suspect displayed a semi-automatic pistol and demanded cash. Prior to the suspects leaving, the victim was ordered to lie on the ground. The suspects are unidentified and the investigation is ongoing.
