OCEANSIDE — Old Mission San Luis Rey will host its annual Heritage Ball to honor the historic landmark with a night of dinner, dancing and fundraising under the stars at 6 p.m. Aug. 25 at 4050 Mission Ave. With Executive Director, Father David Gaa, event chair and local community volunteer, Gigi Gleason, and auction chair, Robbie Hass, at the helm, guests will enjoy a three-course dinner and dancing to NRG Music and Productions.There will be an opportunity drawing for a Holland American Line cruise at only $50 per ticket, plus live auction items. To beautify and renew the adjacent courtyard to the church, a paddle raiser will be held to not only restore Peyri Court, and make it safer for visiting school children.
