CARLSBAD — Calling all artists. The Cardiovascular Disease Foundation is holding a contest to design the new logo for its 2010 seventh annual Walk for Life. Any age may enter and submissions will be accepted through Sept. 1, with the contest winner to be announced in October 2009.
The winning logo artwork will be displayed on the publicity materials for the Cardiovascular Disease Foundation’s annual 5K walk including banners, posters, fliers, registration and other walk information forms, Web sites, TV public service announcements, newsletters, and the 2010 commemorative T-shirts.
Entries will be judged on the basis or originality, suitability, creativity and usability. Artwork must incorporate the essential information about the event: the date, the location, the title of the event, the CVDF logo and walk Web site, as well as the artist’s signature within the body of the design. Entrants must also follow the contest rules on format and submit two versions of their logo design – one in full color and one in four color. For detailed contest information, to view the CVDF logo and to print out a copy of the rules and requirements, visit www.CVDF.org or contact Malinda at (760) 730-1471 or at [email protected].
