PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. — The Associated Press reports that Punxsutawney Phil is predicting an early spring this year.
Just after dawn on Feb. 2, the famous groundhog emerged and his handlers revealed that he did not see his shadow.
Phil has seen his shadow 98 times and hasn’t seen it only 16 times since 1887 according to the group that runs the event.
