Above Roger Rowe is pictured with Patrick Galvin, who was elected as president of the 51-year-old Rancho Santa Fe Rotary organization at the July 12 meeting. Roger Rowe was there to pay his respects to Galvin, who he initially asked to become a member of the Rotary two decades ago. Galvin, who works in real estate, is a 20-year-resident of Rancho Santa Fe. The club’s annual fundraising golf tournament, Swing For Kids, will be held Sept. 3 at the Del Mar Country Club and will benefit Kids Korps, San Pasqual Academy, Camp Pendleton Armed Services and the ProKids Golf Academy. Rancho Santa Fe Rotary meets Mondays at noon at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, 5951 Linea Del Cielo. For more information, visit ranchosantaferotary.org. Photo by Machel Penn Shull
