CARDIFF-BY-THE-SEA — Madonna. Motley Crew. Men Without Hats. Cardiff parents can fondly remember it all at this year’s ’80s-prom-themed gala, “Forever Young.”The March 2 event will be held at the Encinitas Community Center and will include a live auction, spotlight raffle, dinner and dancing to Atomic Groove.Parent volunteers and Cardiff Schools Education Association (SEA) officers have been busy securing title sponsors and donations.
Gala Auction Co-Chairwoman Jannine Landan said, “Solicitation letters were sent to more than 600 families and businesses. We’re seeking all type of auction items including fitness packages, gift certificates, experiences, travel and services.”
“We’re extremely fortunate to have the generosity of Seaside Market, Rimel’s and Zenbu as title sponsors,” said Event Co-Chairwoman Michelle Martini-Brown.
These sponsors will be providing dinner and appetizers along with co-sponsors Bull Taco and East Coast Pizza. KARMA Champagne and Isabelle Brien’s French Pastry Café will be our beverage and dessert sponsors.”
Cardiff Schools Education Association is a volunteer, non-profit organization representative of parents, staff, and community members concerned with improving the education of children within the district.
