ENCINITAS — The Solana Center for Environmental Innovation will host its last electronic waste drop-off event of the year from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 23 at its center at 137 N. El Camino Real. To find the center entrance, go east at Via Molena Drive, past the sheriff’s station.
Jimbo’s Naturally will be giving out organic bananas and discount coupons. The Greenasium, San Diego’s first green fitness studio, will offer free Zumba classes.
This event is also sponsored by the city of Encinitas and members of The Rotary Club of Encinitas and Friends of Solana Center will be assisting as well. Recycle San Diego will professionally dispose of everything with a plug.
