Encinitas 101 MainStreet Association seeking artists for pumpkin carving

ENCINITAS — The Encinitas 101 MainStreet Association is seeking local artists to help carve pumpkins in anticipation of their 17th Annual Safe Trick or Treat.  The carving event will take place Monday October 29th from 11am-3pm.  Carved pumpkins are a central part of the fun of the Safe Trick-or-Treat where families stroll up and down “pumpkin lane” aka South Coast Highway 101, from Encinitas Blvd to K Street.

Participating artists will have their pumpkins displayed at one of three locations during the event, and their work will be shown alongside pumpkins carved by artists in the 101 Artists Colony and Self Realization Fellowship Monks.

Interested artists can reach out to Nick Kale at [email protected] or call the E101 office at 760.943.1950
