Earth Birth helps women worldwide

CARDIF-BY-THE-SEA — Earth Birth is part of Global Women’s Health Collective, with the aim of assisting mothers in war and trauma-affected areas to give birth safely and peacefully. The group is hosting an art and craft sale by local artisans and an African dinner from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 6 and Dec. 7 at 2128 Manchester Ave.

The day will include music and storytelling by Jim Lair, Sue Palmer and Debra Gordon-Zaslow, plus an art and services raffle and a chance to meet co-founder Rachel Zaslow. The Earth Birth pilot program is based in Gulu, Uganda and is a 501c3. Donations are tax deductible. The group is asking a $10 minimum donation.
Participating artisans and service providers will include Chris Austin, Kelly Berning, Trent Berning, Lynn Dewart, Nancy Gordon, Kathryn Gould, and Paul Stolte.
