Dramatist brings Coco Chanel to life at luncheon

LA JOLLA — Have you ever dreamed of having lunch with Coco Chanel?
Join The Refugee Network for the next best thing, as book dramatist Lee Wolf interprets the passions and life of fashion legend Coco Chanel at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 3 at the Hyatt Regency, 3777 La Jolla Village Drive.
Proceeds for the event will benefit The Refugee Network, a San Diego based nonprofit organization which assists more than 3,500 Sudanese refugees as well as incoming Burmese refugees who need assistance with housing, settlement, medical, transportation and education needs.
Wolf sold out this program in both Palm Beach and Pittsburgh. Her career has encompassed both academia and the arts, as she combines book reviews and one-woman shows, highlighting subjects and people in the arts and the world of fashion.
The “Lunch with a Legend” includes a boutique with international items and gifts from local vendors. The silent/live auction will feature a Nintendo Wii, Chargers tickets, a dinner for 12 prepared by master chef of the French Gourmet, and jewelry pieces that would make Coco proud. Reservations are $75.
