VISTA — San Diego County Crime Stoppers, working with the San Diego Sheriff’s Department Vista detectives, is seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the suspect responsible for exposing himself to three young girls. Detectives are also asking anyone who has been a victim of a similar crime to please call Detective Lisa Jenkins at the Vista Sheriff’s Station.
On July 1, three girls ages 12 to 14, were walking in the area of Phillips Street and Valley View Place in Vista when a man in a grey truck stopped in the middle of the road next to them. The driver (suspect) opened the truck’s door, put one foot out and looked directly at the girls while he masturbated. The girls ran to a nearby residence to report the incident.
The suspect is described as a white male adult between 30 and 45 years old. He had no facial hair but had wrinkle lines on his forehead. He is also described as having “fluffy” hair with some grey in it.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a Toyota or Nissan two-door pickup without an extra cab. It is either grey or faded black. The truck also has very large V-shaped stripes, stacked on top of each other on the entire length of the driver’s side door.
