DEL MAR — Del Mar has announced the lineup for its 2013 Summer Concert This seasons series includes:— July 19 – The B-52s— July 26 – Fitz and the Tantrums
— July 27 – Sammy Hagar & The Wabos
— July 28 – Los Tucanes de Tijuana
— Aug. 2 – Iration
— Aug. 4 – Larry Hernandez
— Aug. 9 – Pinback
— Aug. 16 – Steel Pulse
— Aug. 17 – Weezer
— Aug. 23 – Yeah Yeah Yeahs
— Aug. 30 – Special guest
— Aug. 31 – Reggae Fest featuring Ziggy Marley
Concerts will take place on the Seaside Stage at the west end of the Grandstand every Friday and select Saturdays and Sundays. All concerts are free with racetrack admission purchased prior to the last race. Admission for concertgoers entering after the final race is $20.
In addition to top musical guests, Del Mar events include an all-new Del Mar Grill Fest Aug. 17, two Beer Fests on July 27 and Aug. 31 and the Gourmet Food Truck Festival, Aug. 3. Del Mar will once again offer Family Weekends, Free and Easy Wednesdays and many more events and activities on this year’s entertainment calendar.
Racing at Del Mar takes place Wednesday through Sunday with post time for the first race on most days at 2 p.m. On Fridays first post is at 4 p.m.
