COAST CITIES — NCTD.com is reporting that Coaster service is suspended between Oceanside and San Diego today, Dec. 22, until further notice. “Our crews are waiting for high waters to recede around the Sorrento Valley Coaster station so they can inspect the tracks and ensure they are safe for travel. We regret any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience,” it says on the website.
Amtrak train service has also been suspended.
Other forms of public transportation affected by the storm are the Sprinter light rail line and some Breeze bus routes.
