Clothing drive benefits Alpha Project

NORTH COUNTY — Through the month of July, the ninth annual Clothes 4 A Cause business clothing drive is being sponsored by Time Warner Cable.
Time Warner Cable is encouraging people to donate ready-to-wear business outfits to benefit individuals enrolled in job training programs with the Alpha Project. Through these programs, men and women receive career development, encouragement, and clothing suitable to wear in a business environment, allowing them an opportunity to become self-sufficient professionals.
Donations are accepted at San Diego County Mission Federal Credit Union locations or Time Warner Cable offices. For each complete business outfit donated, donors will receive a chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree to Westfield Shopping Malls. Donors also have a chance to win prize packages from sponsors. For a complete list of drop-off locations and details on prizes, visit www.twcsd.com, and click on “In the Community.”
Alpha Project has been a beneficiary of the Clothes 4 A Cause initiative for five years now. Alpha Project strives to end homelessness for its clients and provides an alternate direction into a life of responsibility and dignity.
