City hosts family events

SAN MARCOS — The city of San Marcos Family Enrichment Program, or FEP, will host a few special events during the month of October.
Families can join together to make pretzels at 7 p.m. Oct. 1 at the San Marcos Community Center, 3 Civic Center Drive. The event is $3 per person plus a yearly membership fee of $12 per family. Space is limited and participants must be registered by Sept. 29. Bring a mixing bowl and a cookie sheet.
Families can also design trick or trick bags on at 7 p.m. Oct. 15 at the San Marcos Community Center. Cost for this event is $3 per pie plus a yearly membership fee of $12 per family. Early registration is recommended.
The FEP brings families together through arts, crafts, cooking and special events. The program is sponsored by the city of San Marcos’ Community Services Department. For more details, call (760) 744-9000.
