CHS hosts blow-out homecoming

CARLSBAD — On the heels of a successful sports program last year, Pacific Ridge School opened a new 8,000-square-foot, off-site gymnasium in the Bressi Ranch.
The school announced it has earned the Frontier League’s No. 1 ranking in girls cross-country and launched the inaugural boys and girls varsity lacrosse programs, after dedicating its new synthetic turf athletic field at the start of 2010.
Pacific Ridge School’s upper school competitive teams will also be transitioning from the Frontier League to the Coastal Conference. Pacific Ridge School’s middle school teams are part of the South Coast Middle School Athletic League.
Pacific Ridge School’s coaching staff for the 2010-2011 academic year expanded to include a new boys head basketball coach, a strength and conditioning coach, a varsity volleyball coach and a health education program director.
