COAST CITIES — San Diego Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 15-year-old male Friday in Oceanside for a sexual assault that took place Sept. 28.Â
The boy, whose name was not released, is accused of sexually assaulting a victim on a southbound North County Transit District bus from East Vista Way and Arcadia Avenue in Vista to the Vista Transit Station.
During the assault, the suspect sat near the victim and tried to touch her inappropriately. She told the suspect to stop. She got off the bus and informed the bus driver. The woman told deputies the man followed her onto an Eastbound Sprinter train where she was assaulted again. To get away from the suspect she got off the sprinter.
The suspect was booked into Juvenile Hall.
