A Fall Fun Festival is being held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 16 at the Alta Vista Botanical Gardens, 1270 Vale Terrace Drive, Vista. There will be a plant sale, build a scarecrow contest and vendors including Amigos de Vista Lions barbecue lunch and an Ice Cream Social with the Vista Silver Star Foundation.
