Golf tournament welcomes fire victims for lunch

COAST CITIES — In response to the recent North San Diego County fires and the families that have been displaced, the sponsors of the Celebrity Championship hosted by Marshall Faulk, May 16 through May 18 at the Omni La Costa Resort, will host any displaced families on May 18 with complimentary admission to the tournament and a free Carl’s Jr. lunch.

If the displaced families are able to get online, they are asked to pre-register at Celebrity Championship.com to help determine needed space and food. The displaced families will be hosted in the Military Appreciation designated area.

The event is backed by sponsors Carls Jr, KOGO, LB Jumpers Express and YMCA.
