ENCINITAS — San Diego County Crime Stoppers and the San Diego Sheriff’s Department’s Encinitas detectives are asking for help from the public to identify and locate the persons responsible for theft and unlawful use of credit cards.
Sometime between the evening of Sept. 29 and the morning of Sept. 30, 2012, unknown person(s) stole a wallet from a car parked in the 700 block of Knightsbridge Court in Cardiff.
Three unknown suspects used one of the credit cards that was in the stolen wallet.
The card was used at Wal‐Mart and Adult Emporium in San Diego, at the CVS and the Exxon Mobil gas station in La Jolla and at the Chevron gas station in Encinitas.
Suspect No. 1 is described as a white male adult between 25 to 30 years old, wearing a dark baseball hat, a black t‐shirt and brown shorts. He was seen driving a dark gray, two‐door hatchback and a red, two‐door compact car.
Suspect No. 2 is described as a white male adult between 25‐30 years old, wearing a black long sleeve shirt, blue jeans and black shoes. He was seen driving a white SUV, possibly a Suburban.
Suspect No. 3 is described as a white female adult between 25‐30 years old, wearing a green, knit beanie, green dress and a purple purse. She was seen driving the red, two‐door compact associated with Suspect No. 1.
