‘Anchorman 2’ holds open casting in classy San Diego
The sequel to 200X’s San Diego-based comedy “Anchorman” is filming in San Diego and holding auditions to give local fans an opportunity to get bit parts in the production. Courtesy photo

May 11th is your opportunity to slap on your best panther-infused cologne and be a part of what’s going on in the world tonight. 

Open casting for “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues” is being held in San Diego at the DoubleTree hotel in Mission Valley from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Central Casting is looking to hire local San Diegans as extras for the film, the cast of which includes Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, and Steve Carell.

Everyone who is at least 18-years-old is welcome to audition. All hired performers will be paid.
