Sail on over to the yacht club swap meet

OCEANSIDE — The second annual Yacht Club Swap Meet is taking shape and will be held 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 27 in the parking lot behind the Oceanside Yacht Club, 1950 Harbor Drive.“This is a great opportunity for the harbor community to get an early start on spring

cleaning and to empty out your garage, boat locker or bilge,” said Commodore Karie Albert.

Individual spaces are $15, and there is no limit to the number of spaces an individual can reserve. Parking spaces will be blocked off and small trucks will be able to pull into the space to sell directly from the vehicles. Reservations are required and may be made through OYC member Bob Olson by calling (760) 500-0849.

Oceanside Yacht club is not-for-profit organization, celebrating its 50th anniversary and is dedicated to promoting safe sailing and boating. It also supports local North County non-profit organizations, including Elizabeth Hospice and the Women’s Resource Center. Each summer it holds a youth Learn To Sail Program, open to the community.
