OCEANSIDE — MiraCosta College’s Community Services is offering a noncredit class in high-threat protection. The High-Threat Protection Specialist program is a 19-day course that provides the training, knowledge and skill sets to be a proficient protective team leader/member in all threat areas by focusing on challenging protective environments, the high-threat/low-profile area of operations. This class bridges the gap between conventional domestic protective operations and war-zone PSD work.Classes are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. May 5 through May 23. WIA and GI Bill funding is approved.
