SOLANA BEACH — The California School Garden Network is offering a one-day workshop for developing and sustaining a School Garden Program, to be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Dieguito’s Center for a Healthy Lifestyle, 533 Lomas Santa Fe Drive.The Creating and Sustaining Your School Garden Workshop, is a six-hour, hands-on training program for teams working to create or enhance a school garden program. This workshop covers planning and designing a school garden, basic gardening skills, curricular connections, and outdoor classroom management. Advanced registration is required. School garden teams of up to three people (teachers, parents, volunteers, school administrators and other personnel) are encouraged to attend.
