OCEANSIDE — Tickets are available now for the Feeding the Soul Foundation night of live music, treats and contribution to benefit Canines Companions for Independence. The event will offer a VIP dinner reception from 6 to 7 p.m., then music from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Dec. 1 at the Star Theater, 402 N. Coast Highway 101. The dinner will be catered by Spirito’s Italian Restaurant. Tickets to the concert are $30, and tickets to the dinner reception and concert are $100.Tickets are now on sale for the Holiday Spectacular featuring Steve Poltz who will entertain with his usual humor and eclectic music. Local acoustic rhymer Bushwalla, and other friends will join in the concert.
“We hold these amazing concerts because people want to make a difference, but it can be difficult, especially around the holidays. Together we can join for fun and music and make a big difference at the same time,” said Vallie Gilley, founder of Feeding the Soul Foundation. “We are so honored to be able to help local San Diegans with disabilities get the furry companion they need to better their lives.” Canine Companions provide assistance dogs for children and adults with disabilities, free of charge. The most advanced technology capable of transforming the lives of people with disabilities has a cold nose and a warm heart.
