ENCINITAS – A lone male suspect armed with a handgun entered the Golden Bowl through a side door, ordered the owner of the restaurant at gunpoint to lie on the floor while the suspect took the money drawer and fled in an unknown direction at 7:55 p.m. Saturday.
The owner ran outside and screamed for help.
The suspect is described as Hispanic male between 20 to 30 years of age, 5 feet in height with a heavy build. He wore a yellow bandana covering his face. Deputies searched the immediate area for the suspect however he was not located.
