Artists@Work events involve patrons

OCEANSIDE — Oceanside Museum of Art’s Artists@Work program offers guests a chance to interact with a different diverse artist each month and get a first-hand look at the creative process. During this creative happy hour, visitors enjoy complimentary appetizers and an open beer and wine bar. Tickets are $15 for OMA members or $20 for nonmembers. Reservations suggested.OMA celebrates the ever-evolving art form of tattooing and how it has informed popular culture, in its fourth presentation of Masterworks of Body Art from 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 8. Guests will enjoy a live tattoo runway show, a tattoo demonstration, live music, artwork and complimentary appetizers by Breakfast Club Diner and The Sushi Bus, along with an open beer and wine bar. Tickets that include guaranteed seating for the runway show are $25 for OMA members and $35 for nonmembers. General tickets are $20 for OMA members and $30 for nonmembers. The museum will present Artists@Work Zen Painting featuring Rosemary KimBal’s large-scale Asian style brush paintings from 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 13. During this creative happy hour, visitors enjoy complimentary appetizers by Bull Taco and an open beer and wine bar.
