Support the art community at LeucadiART Walk

This Sunday, come out and celebrate the “Art of Soul” of Encinitas at the Leucadia 101 Main Street Association’s annual LeucadiART WALK, to be held Aug. 28 from 10 to 5 p.m.  Considered Leucadia’s largest event of the year (and free!), LeucadiArt WALK is to take place on Leucadia’s historic Coast Highway 101 and will feature “101” local artists showcasing their best work.
In addition, this year’s event will showcase the recently relocated and now world famous “Surfing Madonna” mosaic by Leucadian Mark Patterson, that for the first time ever, will be widely viewable in a safe and friendly environment adjacent to Leucadia Roadside Park, at the foot of Leucadia Boulevard and Coast Highway 101.
Also along Coast Highway 101, 14 bands and soulful musicians will be performing in seven different venues including a beer and wine garden to be located behind Noni’s Spa in front of The Greenery, North County’s only raw food bar.
Stone Brewery and Wine Styles have generously donated beer and wine, along with other very generous supporters. The local Leucadia 101 Main Street Association is the Chief Organizer of this premier event.
For more information, please refer to Leucadia 101 Main Street Association’s webpage at, on Facebook, or by calling (760) 436-2320.
Established in 2003, The Leucadia 101 Main Street Association is dedicated to the historic preservation and revitalization of Leucadia’s North Coast Highway 101 corridor and is comprised of a volunteer board consisting of Leucadian residents, business owners and local merchants.
The Leucadia Main Street Association will be distributing complimentary maps at its booth located at Leucadia Roadside Park, and within the beer garden, that includes information about the unique and local Leucadia businesses and eateries along Leucadia’s Coast Highway 101, not to be missed.
Complimentary RED double decker, open air bus service is available up and down Coast Highway 101 throughout the day at the magic bus stops. Free parking is recommended at Encinitas City Hall (also a magic bus pick-up location).

Elena Thompson is a Leucadia 101 Main Street Association Board Member.
