OCEANSIDE — A sensory filled night of live music, go-go dancers, body painting and an interactive mural project paid homage to the Beatles at the Oceanside Museum of Art “Art After Dark Beatles Tribute,” June 17.
The Beatles Tribute Band HELP! played for the 21 and up crowd, and dancers twisted in the open lobby.
Live body painting and painting on canvas took place on the first floor. There was also a 1960s inspired fashion show directed by Stacie May on the outdoor catwalk.
Upstairs, in the second floor galleries, a collection of over a dozen Beatles photos and one-of-a-kind Beatles memorabilia was on display, Beatles movies ran and event-goers were guided through a series of interactive art projects.
