SAN MARCOS — A young man was stabbed in the chest by a group of other young men and remains in critical condition after being treated for his injuries that happened last Friday night about 10 p.m. May 13, at a residential area in the 300 block of Pleasant Way, according to deputies.
Giovanni Bazan, 19, was stabbed at an apartment complex near North Twin Oaks Valley Road and West Mission Road.
Bazan was confronted by a group of Hispanic men, and then stabbed, according to Sgt. Joe Ellis, of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
A family member rushed Bazan to a nearby hospital, but it was determined he was in need of a trauma center and transported by air to Scripps La Jolla Hospital.
