Grammy-winners set to perform at library

OCEANSIDE — The Oceanside Public Library and the Friends of the Oceanside Public Library are excited to present Locos Por Juana to close out the Spring 2011 World Music Series.
This concert doors open at 7 p.m. with open seating for the 7:30 p.m. May 14 performance, in the Civic Center Library Community Rooms, 330 N. Coast Highway. Parking is free in the Civic Center parking garage.
With a lineup that creates the perfect urban-alternative musical experience, Locos Por Juana seamlessly blend elements of rock and hip-hop with Latin American rhythms like Cumbia, Champeta, and Salsa and the Caribbean groove of reggae and ska. In 2009, Locos Por Juana received their second Grammy Award nomination in the category of “Best Latin Alternative or Rock Album.”
Tickets for the performance are $15 for all ages and are available at the Oceanside Civic Center Library and Mission Branch Library customer service desks. Advance ticket purchase is recommended.
