SPECIAL SYMPHONY VISIT

La Jolla Symphony & Chorus Assistant Conductor Ken Bell taught students about the three elements of music: rhythm, melody and harmony during a visit to Solana Santa Fe School on March 22. The performance was made possible by a grant from the Betty Scalice Foundation (a fund of the Coastal Community Foundation). San Diego’s oldest and largest community orchestra and chorus mainly performs on the UC San Diego campus. The public is welcome to attend free Friday night dress rehearsals.
