Construction begins at Beacon’s in May

ENCINITAS — A new neighborhood is rising west of Coast Highway 101, within walking distance of North County beaches. According to Lori Asaro, who is heading up sales for the Beacon’s development, the homes are expected to be ready for move-in by September with prices starting from the low $900,000s.
Sales of the homes at Beacon’s are expected to commence in late May. For more information and to join the Beacons interest list, call (619) 308-2051 or visit beacons-leucadia.com.
CityMark Development, known for its mixed-use condo projects in downtown San Diego’s East Village and Little Italy neighborhoods, has commenced construction of 10 detached single-family homes at Beacons in Leucadia. The homes — unique in plan and design — will offer access to coastal living in a tree-lined, cul-de-sac neighborhood of semi-custom residences.
Designed by The McKinley Associates, the two-story homes will range in size from 1,930 square feet to 3,150 square feet with three to four bedrooms. Highlights include great rooms and exterior details capturing the spirit of coastal California.
“We’ve given extra attention to detail to ensure Beacon’s fits with the coastal context of the local surroundings,” Asaro said. “It will be a neighborhood with great appeal for homebuyers who enjoy the area’s casual beach lifestyle and family-friendly village atmosphere.”
Just a stroll away from the heart of Leucadia’s urban coastal scene, the homes at Beacon’s put a variety of eclectic shops, restaurants and entertainment venues at homeowners’ front doors. Recreational enthusiasts can enjoy equally easy access to beaches, biking and running routes, as well as endless walking options.
A key player in the revival of San Diego’s urban neighborhoods, CityMark Development has established an award-winning portfolio of mixed-use residential and retail properties aimed at revitalizing urban areas of distinction. Since its inception in 2000, CityMark has earned a reputation for creating landmark residential buildings integrating high architectural design with modern functionality.
