Agatha Christie spoof on stage at New Vision

OCEANSIDE — New Vision Theatre Company presents a comedic Agatha Christie spoof, “Murdered to Death,” March 25 through March 27, and April 1 through April 3 at Sunshine Brooks Theatre, 217 N. Coast Highway 101.
Friday and Saturday shows will be at 7:30 p.m., and Sundays offer a 2 p.m. matinee, with Toni Perrine as Miss Marple. Directed by Yolanda Kalb, the show features actors Sherryl Wynne, Savannah Fairchild-Love, David Fitzwilliam, Maureen Schneider, John Kalb, Samaria Fleig, Dmitriy Demidov, Toni Perrine, Austin Cook and Tyson Bay.
The comedy-thriller, suitable for audiences of all ages, is set in a country house in the 1930s. Will the murderer be unmasked? When Mildred, owner of the house, is murdered, an assorted cast of weird and wonderful characters assembles. There’s the hopeless police inspector, the various suspects including the English colonel, his long-suffering wife, Pierre the shady art dealer and Bunting, the butler. And then things are complicated by the arrival on the scene of the local amateur sleuth Miss Maple who seems to attract murder wherever she goes.
