Admission is $40. To purchase tickets visit www.nchs-health.org or call (760) 736-6710. Only 300 tickets will be sold.
The event will offer an inventory of designer ladies’ fashions, lingerie, wedding dresses and children’s clothing. There will also be complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres while you shop. All tickets will be entered into a drawing for a prize.
An owner of numerous high-end European boutiques has downsized in the past year and decided to donate the inventory from her boutiques to a nonprofit serving women and children, Maryhouse, a division of Loaves and Fishes, Sacramento. Connie Frank, the executive director of Maryhouse, is the sister of North County Health Services Fund Advisory board member Eileen Letts. Frank knew that her sister supported the efforts of NCHS by working on fundraising for the organization.
There was enough inventory for both Maryhouse and North County Health Services to have Designer Warehouse events. There are fashions by Lilith, Ivan Grundahl, Elm, Cosabella, Zutano, Only Hearts, Gemma, Underwriters and many more all at more than 75 percent off tagged retail prices.
All proceeds from the NCHS Designer Warehouse Event go to support children’s medical and dental programs for the uninsured and underinsured in North County. f there are any remaining items after the event, they will be given to another North County nonprofit organization providing services for women and children. NCHS also offered special thanks to its major sponsor, Lusardi Construction Company in San Marcos.
