Art stars celebrated at Guild’s Holiday Miniatures art show

RANCHO SANTA FE — Rancho Santa Fe Art Guild announced the winners of its current Holiday Miniatures juried show.
The coveted Best of Show prize was given to Marileigh Schulte for her “A Walk In The Park.”
This year’s artists shined, with a host of Honorable Mentions going to Toni Williams for “Still Life;” Pat Beck for “Expressive Landscape;” Suzy Schaefer for “Gas Station;” and Marileigh Schulte for “Between Takes.”
The third-place ribbon was awarded to Pat Dispenziere for her unnamed entry. Suzy Scheafer, earned second place for “Teapot” and first place went to artist Toni Williams’ unnamed entry.
Peggy Rocle Hugenberger served as jurist for the show. The daughter of well-known painters, Marius and Marche Rocle, Hugenberger has built up her own career has an extensive following of collectors.
The Rancho Santa Fe Art Gallery, 6004 Paseo Delicias, is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is closed on Sunday and Monday. The current show will run through December.
