Center gathers donations for scholarships

RANCHO SANTA FE — The Rancho Santa Fe Community Center is accepting donations for its program that allows it to welcome all children. The club provides financial assistance to less advantaged boys and girls in the community and a donation of any size will fulfill the Rancho Santa Fe Community Center’s goal to never turn away a child.
The goal of the Rancho Santa Fe Community Center Scholarship Fund is to help youngsters and families who are in need and to provide after school care, special events, programs, and transportation. In order to accomplish this goal, assistance is provided to qualified applicants for a limited period of time.
Donations will provide:
— $35, one hour of supervised care
— $100, a child’s attending programs one day a week
— $300, a child’s attendance for five days
— $600, a child’s attendance for 10 days
— $900, a child’s attendance for 15 days
— $1,200, a child’s attendance for one month
