Illegal immigrants arrested on Carlsbad beach

CARLSBAD — Border Patrol Agents apprehended 20 suspected illegal immigrants at approximately 1 a.m. Sept. 1 on South Carlsbad State Beach just south of Palomar Airport Road. The suspects, who were all from Mexico, entered the country illegally by boat.
Agents arrested 19 men and one woman, ages 24 to 55. Two of the suspects were apprehended on the boat that had left the shore.

    When is someone from the coasties going to call them to task for NOT doing their job?
    Once a couple of these panga’s get sunk off the coast, this non-sense will stop.
