CEOs to address business students

SAN MARCOS — In the Executive’s Chair, a course at Cal State San Marcos in the College of Business Administration, kicks off the fall semester with more than a dozen senior executive-level guests visiting campus to share their personal experiences of running a business or organization.
Inspired by the Bravo television series “Inside the Actor’s Studio,” the class is part of the Center for Leadership Innovation and Management Building, or CLIMB. Rajnandini “Raj” Pillai and David Bennett serve as the hosts. The intention is to help students learn from the best by bringing in top business leaders to talk about their careers, their companies, and the critical business decisions they commonly face.
The class meets from 10 to 11:50 a.m. most Tuesdays through December in Markstein Hall, Room 125. The discussions are open to members of the campus and business community at no charge, space permitting.
Cal State San Macos is located at 333 S. Twin Oaks Valley Road. For more information, visit www.csusm.edu/guide. Parking is available in campus lots with fees ranging from $3 to $9 depending upon length of stay.
