In loving memory of William H. “Bill” Door

RANCHO SANTA FE — William H. “Bill” Door died peacefully March 27.
Door had suffered from a series of lifelong ailments. His health began to seriously deteriorate in the past few years. He was admitted to a local nursing home this January and began suffering from multiple organ failure.
He passed peacefully Saturday morning with his loving friend, Pam, by his side.
Door attended Rancho Santa Fe School and Torrey Pines High School. He was a realtor with Coldwell Banker and Prudential in Rancho Santa Fe for more than 25 years. He was also active in the real estate market in Indian Wells where he also had a home. Door’s loved ones say he will be greatly missed and remembered for his infectious smile and his great zest for life.
Door requested no funeral services and asked for his ashes to be spread in his favorite place, Lake Powell. A celebration of his life will be at 11 a.m. April 10 at Powerhouse Park in Del Mar. Those wishing to attend are asked to bring a chair. For more information, visit www.billdoormemorial.com.
