Luncheon helps ‘give back’

OCEANSIDE — The Boys and Girls Club of Oceanside will host its first annual “Give Back” luncheon, with two seatings for lunch at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. March 13.
The event will take place at Outback Steakhouse at 2485 Vista Way. The entire ticket sale proceeds will be donated to the club as Janice Koehler, proprietor of the restaurant, will provide all food and service for free.
Tickets cost $20 for adults and $10 for children under 12 and include a steak, chicken or salmon lunch and nonalcoholic beverage.
Funds raised from the luncheon will be used for programs for the club, including camps, after-school activities, and educational activities. The club seeks to enable all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.
