Registration begins for pageant

VISTA — Registration for the 53rd annual Miss Vista Scholarship Pageant and the eighth annual Miss Teen Vista Scholarship Pageant is currently under way. Contestants must live or work in the Vista area or Vista School District or attend a Vista school, be single, never had a child, and be between the ages of 13 and 16 by April 24, 2010 for the Teen Vista pageant and 17 and 26 by April 24, 2010 for the Miss Vista Pageant. Orientation meetings are scheduled for Jan. 2 and Jan. 16 at 10 a.m. at the Vista Entertainment Center. Parents are encouraged to attend.
Miss Vista 2010 will receive a minimum $2,000 cash scholarship. Miss Teen Vista will receive a minimum $1,000 cash scholarship. Both queens receive a wide variety of prizes. Past year’s prizes have included all expense paid trips to Catalina, a backyard spa, DVD players, a donation of a diamond crown ring and gold crown pendant and dozens of dinners for two from local restaurants.
The 2010 Miss Vista Pageant and Miss Teen Vista Pageant will be held at 5:30 p.m. April 24, 2010. The pageant does not include swimsuit or talent segments. The pageant showcases outstanding women who are tops scholastically and socially. Judging criteria emphasizes accomplishments, community skills, self-perception, and projection. Miss Vista 2010 and Miss Teen Vista 2010 will serve as hostesses for various community events.

    Every year the winners for this pageant are chosen in adavance by Laura Bednar the pageant director. She also cames to be a non-profit, all of her non-profit and tax id numbers are made up. She’s committing fraud. Do your research and you will learn the truth.
