RANCHO SANTA FE — The Rancho Santa Fe Professional Firefighters Association
and Rancho Santa Fe Fire Protection District are hosting an open house and
pancake breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. Oct. 11 at Station 1, 16936 El Fuego. District firefighters will be on hand to serve pancakes, eggs, sausage, orange juice, and coffee for a requested donation of $5 for adults or $3 for children.
In addition to breakfast, the open house, which will be part of this year’s Rancho Days celebration, will include station tours, photos with the firefighters, fire engine rides, and informational displays.

The mission of the Rancho Santa Fe Fire Protection District is “To protect life, property, and environment through prevention, preparedness, education and emergency response.” Formed in 1946, the Fire District now spans approximately 42-square miles and protects 29,000 residents. The Fire District currently operates out of four full-time fire stations and the communities within and surrounding Rancho Santa Fe and 4S-Ranch.
