Art on display at community center

SAN MARCOS — The San Marcos Community Services Department is displaying art from a variety of local professional and amateur artists and photographers. The rotating art gallery is located in the Hearth Gallery at the San Marcos Community Center, 3 Civic Center Drive, and is open to the public. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The current show runs through Aug. 31. Participating artists include High Tech High art students as well as professional artists Elizabeth Kelly and Pablo Gonzalez of San Marcos and photographer Shelly Guberek of San Diego.
The exhibit changes every 60 days. Additional work is being sought for future exhibits. Interested artists and photographers may call the center at (760) 744-9000, ext. 3503 to have a release form application sent to them or may download one by visiting www.san-marcos.net and click on Community Services, Special Events then Rotating Art Gallery.
