City seeking volunteer park rangers

SAN MARCOS — The city of San Marcos is looking for a few good people to be volunteer park and trail rangers. Do you like to hike, mountain bike, or provide information to park visitors? San Marcos has 29 parks and 52 miles of trails. Volunteers must be 18 years of age, have a valid California driver’s license and pass a background investigation.     THIS EMAIL IS TO RON VINLUAN RE: DOG CLEAN UP STATIONS. WE, AT LAKE SAN MARCOS HAVE A SMALL PARK ON LA PLAZA DR. I SEE A NEED FOR CLEAN-UP BAGS. I ALWAYS HAVE MY OWN BUT FIND OTHERS DO NOT SEEM TO SEEM IT NECESSARY. HOW DO I GO ABOUT GETTING A STATION IN OUR BEAUTIFUL NEIGHBORHOOD? THANK YOU.
